Are emails that promise a “FREE GAS” card a scam?

1. It’s more than likely a scam
2. I’ve never gotten one like that, so I avoid it.

Think about it. Why would a random person you don’t even know give you “free gas”? There’s a reason for everything. It’s just a scam. Plus, this is just a trick for people who are really desperate to get gas, but it’s way too expensive.
